Dawn Shaw is a published author and experiened TEDx presenter. Her one hour presentation will take place in the CUB Junior Ballroom. Bring a friend! New Students Peer Notetakers Documentation Guidelines Faculty Portal Faculty Liaisons Symposium 2020 MyAccessLogin We are happy you have chosen to attend WSU and we are eager to assist you while you are here. The Access Center provides accommodations and services to incoming and current WSU students with disabilities, psychological or medical conditions, or temporary injuries that limit their access to the WSU environment. In order to receive accommodations through the Access Center you will need to complete an application and submit documentation verifying the presence of a disability or chronic medical condition. Documentation establishes the individual as a person with specific functional limitations and provides a rationale for reasonable accommodations. Once you have submitted your documentation and application, an Access Advisor will contact you in order to schedule an intake appointment to determine what accommodations will be most helpful for you. Some examples of the academic accommodations and services we provide are testing accommodations (e.g. reduced distraction testing environment, extended time, etc.), access to lecture material, alternative print media, and assistive technology. We also assist interested students with time management and organizational skill development. Sonocent Audio Notetaker Workshops Two sessions every Tuesday and Wednesday from 12 - 1 PM and 4 - 5 PM at the Access Center from now through February 5. We will be available for any and all questions regarding Sonocent Audio Notetaker. Quick Links ALIVE!
